Moments like marrying my husband, Caleb in the Washington mountains in September of 2021 with 50 of our closest family and friends as our witnesses. Caleb is my high school sweetheart, but I've been crushing on him since the first grade. Or moments like bringing our daughter into the world on a rainy day in January of 2023. But also the small moments, like a trip to the farmers market, a summer evening dip in the lake, the first sip of iced coffee in the morning, a backroad drive with the windows rolled down, a bedtime story with sleepy eyes, or setting out a fresh bouquet of flowers in a thrifted vase. These are most of the moments that make up the life I want to bottle up and never forget.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been a storyteller. Back then it was in the form of making up stories to tell my sisters, today it's in the form of photography, carefully and intentionally created to tell stories of people's lives, their love, and their legacy. Storytelling is the heart of what I do and it guides my approach to every session, wedding, and aspect of my business! Why? Because I know what it is like to want to hold on to a moment forever. Not just because of what it looked like, but because of how it felt.
