Weddings starting at $4000
My wedding packages start at eight hours of coverage and can be built on from there to best suit your needs. Add on's include rehearsal dinner coverage, additional hours, as well as a custom made heirloom album. Every package is met with the same approach: intentional and artful documentation of your day. Photos that remind you of what it felt like. The last thing I want is for your wedding day to turn into a full day photoshoot. And that is why I'm primarily a fly on the wall capturing moments as they unfold. I will offer guidance and direction when needed, but want to make sure you get to be as present as possible on your day.
Your story is made up of all the little moments. The ones that feel ordinary now but will someday mean everything. These sessions are meant to take you back to a season. If you're in the season of motherhood maybe that looks like a slow morning at home making pancakes. If you're in your newly wed era maybe it's letting me third wheel for date night to the ice cream parlor. These sessions are collaborative, together we will come up with a plan that feels like you. While I will offer guidance when needed, storytelling sessions are more focused on capturing moments as the happen naturally. Because of the documentary approach to these sessions they often run longer, 2-3 hours.
STORYTELLING Sessions $550
Just like storytelling sessions, portrait sessions can be booked for maternity, family, engagements or couples but differ in the approach to the session. These are shorter sessions, typically 1-2 hours with a heavier focus on prompting and directing. It is the perfect session to book if you're looking to hang them on the wall, planning for Christmas cards, or simply want some updated photos to remember this time in your life. We will choose a location, and time of day that will be the best light for that location and your vision.
PORTRAIT Sessions $450
Births are probably my favorite thing to document. The raw emotion that comes from bringing new life into this world is not something you could ever curate. I do not take for granted being invited into such a vulnerable and sacred space. I want to show up as a friend to your birth experience, not a stranger, so my birth package includes a complimentary maternity session. I take on a very limited number of births a year to ensure I can be there and provide you with the best service possible. I will be on call starting one week prior to your due date through 41 weeks. Birth $2500
Look familiar? Your parent or grandparent might have a similar portrait tucked away in a photo album from when they were young. These timeless portraits are created in such an intentional way to portray each child's features that change so quickly with the passing of time. So often as parents we wish we could slow time down, and while we can't do that, we can create something tangible to never forget what our babies once looked like. Heirloom portraits include 5-10 digital files in color and b&w as well as one fine art print mailed in a vintage frame.
HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS $250
$75 for each additional child
Many years ago a friend reached out and asked if I could film her grandparents, interview style, so that her family could hear stories from their perspective and always have these memories of them. We put it all together as a Christmas gift and Christmas day the whole family watched it together. From then on, I knew this was something I wanted to offer to others. While length varies depending on answers, each film includes 5 to 10 interview questions meant for parents or grandparents about their life together. Old home video footage can be digitalized and incorporated where it makes sense into the final film for an additional $35 per tape.
